Stories and highlights

There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.

A year at our school

Book Week was celebrated with a book parade and library book fair. Students were encouraged to dress up as a book character for the parade and parents and carers were invited to come and view the parade. Visitors then visited the library book fair after the parade to purchase books and acessories.

School Open Day was filled with a celebration of Creative Arts and parents and carers were invited to join students for a picnic and open classrooms.

Father's Day was celebrated with a BBQ breakfast run by our wonderful P&C where our special guests were made to feel appreciated.

Our fabulous Kindergarten students celebrated 100 days of school - 100 days of learning, 100 days of new friends and 100 days at GPPS. Students were invited to come dressed as what they might look like when they are 100 years old!

We had a fantastic selection of artworks created by Year 3 on display for our very own pop up art show.

What an amazing day we had at our Colour Run Fundraiser! Our amazing P&C Fundraising Committee and wonderful community raised over $26,000! An incredible effort and oh so much fun!

We love our gymnastics program at GPPS! The specialised teachers and equipment means our students develop their capabilities and skills and have lots of fun doing it.
